Next year we will be finding a new place to camp!!
We've been coming here 2-3x a year for at least 5 summers and this year is definitely a negative! There are 2 big pools and our boys have always enjoyed them especially the one with the diving board. However, this year you can only use that pool if you're an annual siteholder. Well I know we're not here year round but we did pay to stay here and should have access to all amenities. To be honest it feels segregated! The pool we get to use is very dirty and the chairs are old whereas the other pool has nice new chairs and umbrellas.
The pool is large and has an abundance of seating. The water is absolutely freezing. I never saw an adult in the water. Of course kids don't mind so they swim. My youngest son's lips were blue after being in for about 30 minutes.
This place used to be nice and very family oriented but I guess like everything else it's all about the money.
I don't mean to make the place sound absolutely horrible because it's not. There are however other campgrounds I'd rather visit.
Horrible! So disappointed! Sewer hookup needed to hold down with rocks. Had a water event for an hour if you didn't want to participate u needed to be inside. I'm camping do you think I want to be inside? Lake is disgusting. The slide that is advertised on website isn't in use. We couldn't bring a can of s Ida to pool. Brought a friend camping for the 1st time she will never camp again . I am so embarrassed! Not worth the money. Even if i had a free night I wouldn't come back.
I come here every summer with my kids. We love it. It is very family oriented. They have all kinds of stuff for the kids during the weekend and week.
If you don't mind a rent-a-cop nosing around in your personal property then this place should be right up your alley. When I go camping I don't want to worry about some jackbooted thug walking around at night peering in people's campers and cars.
Not bad but extremely crowded. Roads are one way but you will encounter trucks going in the wrong direction on the already overcrowded tiny gravel roads. Meeting one with a camper would be a nightmare. I pulled our 26 ft mallard camper in to the campground but it was very very tight in alot of spots. Golf carts rule the road here and will not move for you even if you are towing.
